Singulator Plus™ Meter Planting
Singulating meter planting rate is determined by:
• crop and seed variant
• meter wheel selection, and
• meter drive configuration
There are no other adjustments.
Volumetric planting with Singulator Plus™ meters is
covered on page 25.
Population Consistency Risk:
Maximum recommended speed is 7 miles per hour (11.3 kph),
based on maximum meter rpms.
Reading a Singulated Rate Chart
1. Know your intended seed population (see charts on
page 6 and page 7 if only seed spacing is known).
For example: 200,000 seeds per acre.
2. Consult the chart for your crop and meter wheel/cell
count, for example: Milo and 135 cell.
3. Verify that your seed density is compatible with the
seed wheel.
4. Find the chart with your row spacing, for example:
30 inch twin row.
5. Note which Maximum and Minimum rows cover your
intended population. For example, three rows apply
to 40,000 seeds/ac.
6. Choose a field speed that is covered by the Min/Max
population bands.
7. The listed meter rpm limits are for reference. If you
use a compatible field speed from the chart, meter
rpm is assured to be within limits.
8. Enter the population in the seed monitor.
