Chapter 3 Operation
Zeroing Sensor
Note:
This procedures uses VPM3.
1. Check that no RF is in the system.
Note:
The sensor will read “~0.”
2. Do one of the following:

Press the Amplitude menu button.

Go to the Amplitude menu item.
3. Press the Zero menu key.
Note:
Zeroing will take about 10 seconds. A prog-
ress bar for the calibration will be displayed on the
screen.
Note:
If the calibration is interrupted for any rea-
son, the sensor will need to be re-zeroed.
4. Press “Run” to resume data collection with the new Zero
offset.
