Connections and sources
AUX …
To make recordings on connected video
equipment other than HDR 2, connect this extra
video equipment directly to BeoSystem 3 or
BeoVision 7.
To copy recordings from HDR 2 to
extra video equipment, such as a DVD recorder,
connect the extra video equipment to the socket
marked AUX on HDR 2.
For further information, refer to the Reference
book enclosed with BeoSystem 3 or BeoVision 7.
Set-top box …
A set-top box should be connected directly to
BeoSystem 3 or BeoVision 7. It is no longer
necessary to connect a set-top box to HDR 2.
V.TUNER …
It is not possible to select V.TUNER as source.
This leads to the following differences:
Record here and now …
Recordings are made directly from the television
tuner. For more information on recording, refer to
the HDR 2 Guide.
Pause an on-going programme …
If you wish to pause an on-going programme for
later replay, simply press STOP, when you are
watching a programme via the television tuner or
a set-top box. For more information on pausing a
programme, refer to the HDR 2 Guide.
Copy from the replay buffer
You can copy the content of the replay buffer to
the HARD DISC CONTENT list at any time by
making a manual recording. If you start a manual
recording during replay, the recording starts from
the point in time selected in the replay buffer.
> Press the
green button to cue backwards to
where you want your recording to begin.
> Press
STOP to pause replay.
> Press
RECORD twice to start the manual
recording. The manual recording starts from the
selected point in time in the replay buffer.
The content before the recording start time will be
deleted.
After copying from the replay buffer to the HARD
DISC CONTENT list, you can edit the new recording,
as you can edit any other recordings.
