The following three parameters allow for alterations made to a runorder or
script on the iNews server to be automatically reflected in the QMaster
prompt output:
A l l o w O n A i r D e l e t e : Items deleted from a runorder on an iNews server
will be automatically deleted from the QMaster runorder.
A l l o w O n A i r U p d a t e s : Updated items on iNews will be updated on
QMaster.
A l l o w O n A i r E d i t i n g : QMaster can edit sent items If this is not ticked
then sent items can only be edited in panic mode.
O n l y D i s p l a y R u n d o w n T i t l e : If this option is selected QMaster will
display the queue path as the rundown title; otherwise it will display the
iNews queue path.
C o n v e r t S i n g l e S p a c e s T o D o u b l e : Single spaces in a script will be
converted to two spaces.
D i a l U p C o n n e c t i o n : This will change the update checking time.
F o r c e T e x t T o U p p e r C a s e : Changes all received text to upper case.
' F l o a t ' E m p t y I t e m s : If this option is selected, any empty items (without
script) received will automatically be put on hold.
S t r i p ' N o t P r o m p t e d ' T e x t : If this option is selected then text that has
been marked, as Not Prompted will be removed from the downloaded
rundown.
P r o m p t ' N o t P r o m p t e d ' T e x t : If this option is selected then text
marked Not Prompted will be prompted.
C o n v e r t S i n g l e S p a c e t o D o u b l e : If this option is selected then single
spaces within scripts will be converted to double spaces.
S t r i p T r a i l i n g H a r d R e t u r n s : This option will remove any extra hard
returns at the end of a script.
3. Click the
O t h e r S e t t i n g s ( c o n t . ) tab.
4. If the feed from the iNews server contains Unicode characters that need
to be correctly interpreted, select the
U T F 8 E n c o d e d F e e d checkbox.
