STEP 1: After Invis-A-Rack has been installed, drill hole in J-hooks for
clamp half if needed (see template). Clean all areas where
adhesive block seal and D-seal will be applied, apply silicone
to areas shown on silicone instruction sheet. Seals will need to
be custom cut for each application. Block seal will start at the
notched out sections and continue to the tailgate in the rear, and
the bulkhead in the front. Keep Block seal flush with the top of
truck rail. D- seal will be placed between J hooks in the track
at the lowest position. When applying seals, cut long
and compress to allow for shrinkage.
STEP 2: Attach the TruXedo rails to the Invis-A-Rack J hook as in
Detail A. Clamp must hook side rail as shown. To get the
correct TruXedo rail alignment from front to back, See
Detail-B. Compress the rear seal against the closed tailgate
and hold. Attach clamps starting at the tailgate. Install 4
clamp halfs along each TruXedo rail. Tighten all clamps.
STEP 4: Push header guides into place under side rail. A click sound
will indicate a secure attachment. See detail D & E below.
STEP 3: Set cover assembly behind cab with header seal on top of of
bulkhead. See detail C.
