The keypad is supplied with a mounting plate suitable for use with a
standard UK, US or European backbox. A surface mount box is also
provided. A rubber gasket is supplied to ensure a weather resistant fit
between the backbox and the wall.
The assembly is waterproof (IPX7 rated) when used with the mounting
plate with all the cable connections made inside the building.
The alternative surface box contains a terminal strip making it ideal for
connection to existing wiring.
The keypad has a backlight which can also be used to denote access
permission. Green, amber and red LED’s can be turned on via individual
control wires.
Cable extensions
Keypads can be extended using Belden CR9540 10-core overall screened cable to a maximum of 100 metres.
