Carrying the car seat using the soft
carrier handle:
1. To use the soft carrier handle, lift it into
position (Photo B).
2. Lock the soft carrier handle in place by
securing the tab through the red D-ring
on the soft carrier handle grip (Photo
C).
3. Check to ensure the soft carrier handle
is locked in place by trying to move the
soft carrier handle grip.
4. To carry the car seat, position the soft
carrier handle grip in the crook of your
arm to keep the infant’s weight close to
your body (Photo A).
To store the soft carrier handle:
1. Undo the hook and loop fasteners and
lower the soft carrier handle to be flush
with the top of the upholstery when not
in use (Photo D).
Using the Sunshade
CRUSHING HAZARD: Never put
objects on top of the sunshade.
The weight of objects may cause
the sunshade to collapse.
FALL HAZARD: Never carry
the car seat by grasping the
sunshade. The sunshade could
detach and the seat could fall,
injuring your child.
STRANGULATION HAZARD: To
avoid choking or entanglement,
stow the sunshade extension back
into its pocket when not in use.
VEHICLE COLLISION HAZARD:
Always lower the sunshade fully
when the car seat is in your
vehicle, otherwise driver visibility
may be impaired.
