General Inspection Prior to Operation

The DCA-500SSK generator has been thoroughly
inspected and accepted prior to shipment from the factory.
However, be sure to check for damaged parts or
components, or loose nuts and bolts, which could have
occurred in transit.

Extension Cable

When electric power is to be provided to various tools
or loads at some distance from the generator,
extension cords are normally used. Cables should be
sized to allow for distance in length and amperage so
that the voltage drop between the generator and point
of use (load) is held to a minimum. Use the Cable
Selection Guide (Table 8) for selecting proper cable
size.

Circuit Breakers

To protect the generator from an overload,
