Status LED (OFF)
NEVER stop the engine suddenly except
in an emergency. DO NOT use the
emergency stop switch a as method of
shutting down the engine. This switch is
ONLY to be used in the event of an
emergency.
1. To stop the engine in the event of an emergency, PUSH
the emergency stop button ( Figure 58) inward. This button
is located on the generator's engine operating panel,
see page 32, Figure 10.

Engine Shutdown
To shutdown the generator use the following procedure:
1. Place both the MAIN, GFCI and LOAD circuit breakers
to the "OFF position".

5. Verify that the "Engine Running" status LED (Figure 57)
on the Microprocessor Engine Control Module (MPEC)
display is "OFF" (not lit).
3. Let the engine cool by running it for 3-5 minutes with no
load applied.
6. Remove the load from the UVWO terminal strip (Figure 14
on page 35).
2. Set the engine speed switch (Figure 55) to the idle (low)
position.
4. Place the Off/Manual/Auto Switch (Figure 56) in the "OFF/
RESET" position
