These Instructions
Ÿ describe the handling and the installation of the 8201BB operating module.
Ÿ are only valid together with the Operating Instructions of the corresponding
frequency inverter.
Description
The 8201BB operating module is used for parameterization of the 8200 frequency
inverters via keypad. It includes a five-digit LCD display and six function keys.
Functions
Ÿ Parameterization of the frequency inverters
Ÿ Display of parameters and error messages
Ÿ Setpoint input via keypad
Ÿ Controller inhibit and enable via keypad
Ÿ Parameter transfer to other frequency inverters of the same series.
- The parameter transfer to frequency inverters of different series is not possible
because of the different code sets!

Assembly
Ÿ The operating module can be connected to or disconnected from the X1 interface
during operation.
Ÿ The operating module is ready for operation when a text is displayed after the
initialization.
