9.2 Troubleshooting and fault elimination
Fault Possible cause Remedy
The PROFIBUS master indicates a
bus error and the yellow LED on the
function module is off. Short circuit/open circuit Check the PROFIBUS wiring.
The bus terminatior is not activated. Activate the bus terminating
resistor of the last bus device.
Set station address is incorrect. Set the correct station address.
The PROFIBUS master indicates a
bus error and the yellow LED on the
function module is blinking. Incorrect PROFIBUS configuration
data Check the configuration data sent
by the master via C1526.
Permitted configuration data:

The drive cannot be enabled. The enable signal via the control
word is missing. Send 007F

Controller inhibit via terminal is
active. Set terminal X3/28 = HIGH
(+12 ... +30 V).
There is no setpoint selected. C0412/1 = 200 (setpoint source
PROFIBUS) must be set
