Light sources: safety regulations
★ Light sources pose a potential irradia-
tion risk (glare, UV radiation, IR radiation).
Therefore, lamps have to be operated in
closed housings and in installed condition.
★ Never look directly into the beam path
(blinding hazard).
★ Do not select a white, strongly reflective
background for the specimen.
