If no button is pressed to ac-
knowledge the end of the clean-
ing procedure, the print head will
be closed automatically after a
few minutes to prevent it from
drying out. The message "15"
remains.
Never rotate the swab – this can
cause premature scratches and
wear on the nozzle plate of the
print head.
• Carefully insert the swab under the print
head ( Fig. 10 ). Apply light pressure up-
wards on print head from the back right
to the front left (with respect to the sealing
lip of the replacement plate). Use a clean
surface of the swab each time you touch
it to the print head.

The printer automatically closes the print head after 2.5 minutes. A signal sounds
30 s before it automatically closes and a countdown appears on the display. To
prevent damage to the print head, wait 30 seconds and then press CLEAN and
LOADED again. End the cleaning process and press any button on the control
panel to conclude the cleaning.
