Setting Aid for Mechanical Pressure Switches
To use the HMG 510 as a setting aid for mechanical pressure switches, you
need:
• Pressure transmitter on channel A (e.g. HDA 4748-H)
• Mechanical pressure switch on channel B
To facilitate connection of the mechanical pressure switch to the power
supply, we recommend using the UVM 3000 universal adapter.
Connection diagram
Now connect the mechanical pressure switch to the HMG 510 as shown
above:
1. Connect the pressure transmitter to channel A.
(The pressure transmitter has to be located in the same pressure circuit
as the mechanical pressure switch.)
2. Connect the UVM 3000 universal adapter to channel B.
3. Connect the switching output of the mechanical pressure switch to
connector 1 and 3 of the UVM 3000.
