SETUP AND CONNECTIONS
The Preset 10 Portable should be installed between the console and DM X512 receiving devices. Typically, it should be
within arm s length of the console operator.
Rem ove the cable connected to the output of the console. Use a short DMX512 cable to connect the output of the console
to the DM X512 input of the Preset 10 Portable. Connect the cable that was originally connected to the console to the
DMX512 output connector of the Preset 10 Portable. This inserts the Preset 10 Portable into the DM X512 signal path.
Plug the Preset 10 Portable power supply into m ains power.
NOTE:

The console will still operate norm ally when the Preset 10 Portable is not powered.

W hen the prim ary console is powered ON your lighting system should function norm ally. The RED LED of the Preset 10
Portable will illum inate indicating that a DMX512 signal is present.
