5 Commissioning

5.1 Inititial‐Commissioning

Achtung:

The initial installation of this device can only be performed by using the RJ45
interface labelled with HOST.

A RJ45 PATCH CABLE IS REQUIRED FOR INITIAL CONFIGURATION.

Connecting the 24 V DC power source

The power for this device can be supplied by a 24V DC (2‐pin connector) power supply. The corresponding
COMBICON connector is included in the scope of delivery.

Connect the device with a suitable power supply unit.

RJ45 network cable connection

For initial installation it is essential to establish a connection between this device and a PC by using a RJ45
network cable.

To connect the device with a PC:

Device HOST connector <‐> PC LAN connector
