1. Attach the feed chute(1) to the chipper body using eight

3/8 x 1-1/4" carriage bolts(2) and two 3/8 x 1" carriage

bolts(4) washers and nylock nuts. For the two upper

and two lower bolt locations, insert the bolts from inside

feed roller housing. The other six bolts mount on the

outer flanges of the feed roller housing and feed chute.

There is a coated clamp(3) bolted to the chipper body in

the lower left mounting hole. It is necessary to remove this

clamp and bolt and re-bolt it to the feed chute in the same

position.

Do not tighten completely at this time.

2. There is also a coated clamp(7) bolted to the bottom of the

feed chute at the hinge point. It is necessary to remove

the 3/8 x 1-1/4" hex bolt(6) and clamp to route the wire

harness through the clamp.

noTe: this same bolt will

be used to attach the chute support(5) to the feed chute

in step 4.

3. Bolt the chute support(5) to the chipper frame with two

3/8 X 1" carriage bolts(4), one 3/8 x 1-1/4" carriage

bolt(2). washers and nylock nuts.

4. Bolt the chute support to the feed chute at the hinge

location using the 3/8 X 1-1/4" hex bolt, coated clamp

(with harness routed through it), washer and nut

removed in step 2.

5. Bolt the license plate bracket(8) to the chute support

using two 5/16 x 1" carriage bolts(9), and to the feed

chute with two 5/16 x 3/4" carriage bolts(10) with proper

washers and nuts for all four.

6. now go back and tighten the bolts and nuts

attaching the feed chute to the housing.

7. Connect the wires coming from the feed chute to the

connectors that are located underneath the chipper feed

roller. The color of the cable ties on the chipper wires

indicate which wire they should be connected to.
