It must be ensured that no fluids find their way into the interior of the antivibration pad.
Wipe off painted parts and surfaces with a cloth and mild cleaning agent then rub with a dry
cloth.
Warning:
Do not use corrosives, solvents or grinding cleaning or polishing agents.
The antivibration pad should be cleaned prior to disinfection.
Autoclaving or disinfection with radioactive irradiation or gases is not permitted!
All surfaces of the antivibration pad are to be subjected to a wiping disinfection with alcohol
(ethanol, isopropanol) or alcohol-based disinfection agent.
Spray disinfection is to be avoided, as this can result in disinfection media finding its way into
the interior of the antivibration pad. The damping material can thereby be damaged.
The disinfection method applied must satisfy all applicable legal regulations and guidelines for
disinfection.
If the device is to be inspected or repaired by the service partners of the Eppendorf AG, it must
be free of hazardous substances and clean!
A decontamination certificate must accompany the antivibration pad.
A "Decontamination certificate for the return of goods" form and general instructions for the
decontamination are available at our www.eppendorf.com homepage.
The warranty or service is taken over by the supplier or the service partner of the Eppendorf AG.
