5. Repeat Steps 3 – 4 for passenger side Frame Mounting Bracket installation, (Figure 4).
6. Hold the plastic splash guard up against the bottom of the vehicle. Mark the Bracket location onto the
splash guard, (Figure 7). Carefully cut out the marked area, (pictured for example only), off of both
sides of the plastic cover with a sharp knife or hacksaw blade, (Figure 8). IMPORTANT: Do not cut the
mounting locations off of the splash guard, (Figure 8). Re-install the splash guard.
7. Select the driver side Mounting Bracket. Bolt the Bracket to the outside of the Frame Bracket with (2)
10mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (4) 10mm Flat Washers and (2) 10mm Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figure 9). Do not
tighten hardware at this time.
8. Repeat Step 7 to install the passenger side Mounting Bracket.
9. Move to the lower opening in the front bumper, (Figure 10). Select the Center Support Brace and the
Front Plate. Bolt the Center Support Brace to the Front Plate with (2) 6mm x 20mm Hex Bolts, (2) 6mm
Lock Washers and (2) 6mm Flat Washers, (Figure 11). Leave hardware loose at this time.
10. Insert the Front Plate assembly into the upper opening. Hold the Back Plate behind the radiator
support, (Figure 11). Attach the Front Plate assembly to the Back Plate with (2) 6mm x 20mm Hex
Bolts, (2) 6mm Lock Washers and (2) 6mm Flat Washers, (Figure 12). Leave hardware loose.
11. With assistance, position the Sport Bar up to the Mounting Brackets. Attach the Sport Bar to the
Brackets with (2) 12mm x 40mm Hex Bolts, (2) 12mm Lock Washers and (2) 12mm x 37mm Large Flat
Washers, (Figure 13). Snug but do not tighten hardware.
12. Slide the Center Support assembly up or down the radiator support as necessary to line up with the
threaded insert in the crossbar on the Sport Bar, (Figure 14). Bolt the Brace to the Sport Bar with (1)
8mm x 25mm Button Head Bolt, (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1) 8mm Flat Washer.
13. Adjust and align the Sport Bar properly and tighten all hardware.
14. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, wax this product after installing. Regular waxing is recommended to add a protective layer
over the finish. Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish.
For stainless steel: Aluminum polish may be used to polish small scratches and scuffs on the finish. Mild soap may be
used also to clean the Sport Bar.
For gloss black finishes: Mild soap may be used to clean the product.
