More About Your Printer: System Requirements

Minimum Printing Margins

The printer cannot print outside a certain area of the page, so you
must make sure the contents of your document fall within the
printable area. When you use nonstandard paper sizes and select

User Defined Paper Size

setting from the

Setup

tab on the HP

Printer Properties dialog box, the paper width must be between 77
and 215 mm (3 and 8.5 inches) and the paper length must be
between 127 and 356 mm (5 and 14 inches).

Note: DOS margins can vary. See the manual for your specific DOS program for more
information.

System Requirements

Be sure your computer meets the following system requirements:

If you are printing photographs, you will need at least 100 MB of free hard disk space. If you are

printing at 2400 x 1200 dpi, you will need at least 400 MB of free hard disk space.
