User preferences
This section explains how to customize the DVD Recorder to your preferences. These icons
indicate the following:
t Picture settings
v Sound settings
u Language settings
w Additional settings
x Remote control settings
Control the DVD Recorder using the remote control of your Philips TV
set
s Disc settings
z Recording settings
y Installation
1 Switch on the TV. If required, select the channel number for the
DVD Recorder (channel 3 or 4 or Audio/Video In channel).
2 Press SYSTEM-MENU on the remote control. The menu bar
will appear at the top of the TV screen.
3 Select ' A ' with D or C and confirm with CH- B .
4 Select the corresponding function with CH- B or CH+ A and
confirm with C .
5 Select the corresponding line with CH- B or CH+ A and
confirm with the C button. Choose an item you want to adjust,
using the instructions provided on the following pages.
6 Select the corresponding function with CH- B or CH+ A , or
select the setting with D or C . Choose an item you want to
adjust, using the instructions provided on the following pages.
7 Confirm the new setting by pressing OK .
8 To close the menu item, press D .
