• The initial setting is STEREO.
• When recording a TV
program, TV/VCR/DVD
records MTS broadcasts in
HIFI stereo sound
automatically unless you select
SAP mode recording
beforehand.
• If you select second audio
when second audio is not
available, the TV/VCR/DVD
will receive and record normal
audio.
• Even if you press MODE in
external input, the audio will
not be switched.
Helpful Hints
For TV Audio
1 While receiving an MTS broadcast, press
MODE repeatedly to select STEREO, SAP
(Second Audio Program) or MONO.
● The mode changes according to the broadcast among
STEREO, SAP and MONO every time you press the
button.
● The current mode appears on the TV screen for about 5
seconds.
1 When you press MODE repeatedly, the cur-
rently selected language and the number of
received languages will be displayed on the
screen.
Every time you press MODE, the language will
be switched.
Languages you can switch differ depending on the
receiving broadcast.
