Remove the faceplate

Using a screwdriver, disengage
the cover

on the hinge
side and draw it outwards for
removal.

Unscrew the soft stop unit (2x Torx® 15)

Pull the soft stop unit out a little, push it in the direction of the
handle side and swing it out.
u
Set the soft stop unit aside.
u
Unscrew
the
bearing
element

, turn it
180° and transfer it to the
opposite side. Possibly
make preliminary holes with
a bradawl or use a cordless
screwdriver.

Open the upper door, if necessary.
For appliances without soft stop mechanism:

To remove the cover on the
handle side

the right and slide outwards.

Remove the front panel

driver.

Take out the contact and disconnect the plug connection

Detach grey cable

4.3.3 Detaching the upper door
Note

Remove any food from the door racks before removing the
door, so that no food falls out.

Draw the cover

forwards and lift it off.

CAUTION
Risk of injury if the door tips!

Take good hold of the door.
u
Set down the door carefully.
u
Completely undo the screws

Lift off the door complete with turn hinge

and
cable. For release, possibly use a flat-blade screwdriver and
carefully lever it under the turn hinge.

Set the door aside.
4.3.4 Detaching the lower soft stop mecha-

For appliances with soft stop mechanism.
For appliances without soft stop mechanism proceed with

Open the lower door.
NOTICE
Risk of damage!
If the door seal is damaged, the door may fail to close properly
and the cooling will be inadequate.
u
Do not damage the door seal with the screwdriver!
u
Disengage and remove the faceplate
