You.can.connect.other.luminaires.to.your.Philips.LivingColors.coloured.
and.white.light.remote.to.create.immersive.lighting.scenes..There.are.
numerous.possibilities:
You.can.connect.multiple.Philips.LivingColors.lamps.to.one.remote.
control..Most.Philips.LivingColors.will.work.with.this.remote:.just.check.
if.there.is.a.“Gen2”.sign.on.the.remote.or.a.SmartLink.sign.inside.the.
remote.control.of.the.LivingColors.you.would.like.to.link..All.products.
with.at.least.one.of.these.signs.can.be.connected.to.your.Philips.
LivingColors.coloured.and.white.light.remote.control..
In.order.to.add.a.Philips.LivingColors.lamp.to.a.remote.control,.bring.
the.remote.close.to.that.lamp;.then.press.and.hold.the.“I”.button..The.
lamp.will.flash.3.times.and.then.shortly.flash.in.green.colour..Hold.the.
“I”.button.until.you.hear.a.beep.from.the.remote..The.lamp.you.have.
linked.will.turn.to.its.last.setting.(if.the.last.setting.was.“off”,.it.will.go.to.
the.last.setting.when.it.was.on).

Reset.the.remote.control.you.would.like.to.add:.open.its.battery.
compartment.and.press.the.small.button.for.a.few.seconds.(e.g..with.a.
paper.clip)..Make.sure.that.the.batteries.are.in..The.remote.will.play.a.
sound.to.show.it.has.been.reset.
Hold.the.remote.you.have.reset.close.to.your.current.remote..Press.
the.“I”.button.on.both.remotes.until.one.of.the.remotes.plays.a.
sound..Now.you.can.connect.lamps.with.either.RC.in.the.same.way.as.
described.above.and.lamps.can.then.be.under.control.of.both.remotes.

What.to.do.if…
The.LivingColors.is.not.responding.to.the.remote.control.
Check.the.batteries.in.the.remote.control..The.batteries.should.be.
correctly.inserted.(+.and.-).and.should.be.charged..If.the.remote.control.
is.still.not.working,.try.replacing.the.batteries.
Link.the.remote.to.the.LivingColors.by.following.the.procedure.
described.in.section.5.1.of.this.manual.
In.rare.cases,.this.could.be.caused.by.heavy.traffic.on.the.wireless.
network.(e.g..a.wireless.router)..Try.moving.the.LivingColors.away.from.
the.router..Or.try.the.following.procedure:.
make.sure.that.all.lights.connected.to.this.remote.are.on;.otherwise.
they.will.not.respond.after.this.action..
