5. Make and answer calls
Besides using your keypad, you can also make calls using your phone book,
voice dial, or 1-touch dialing, once you’ve programmed these features.
Tip: Use the index in back of this guide to locate these features quickly.
• Make a call with the keypad
1 Open the sliding cover while the phone is on.
2 Enter the area code and phone number using the keypad.
3 Press . Your phone dials the number.
4 To end the call, press .
Make an international call
1 Enter the correct international dialing prefix.
2 Enter the correct international country code (1 for the US, 58 for
Venezuela, and so on).
3 Enter the area code and phone number.
4 Press . Your phone dials the number.
Call service numbers*
If your service provider has enabled this feature, you can view the phone
numbers saved to your SIM card.
1 At the Start screen, press Names and scroll to Service numbers.
2 Press the roller and scroll to any of the service numbers that appear.
3 Press the roller again. From here, you can Call the number, View
details of the number, or Copy the number to your Phone book.
