Configuring PCs in Window XP
1. Go to Start / Control Panel (in Classic View). In the Control
Panel, double-click Network Connections.
2. Double-click Local Area Connection. (See Figure 3.1)
3. In the LAN Area Connection Status window, click
Properties. (See Figure 3.2)
4. Select I n t e r n e t P r o t o c o l (TCP/IP) and click Properties.
(See Figure 3.3)
5. Select the Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain
DNS server address automatically radio buttons. (See
Figure 3.4)
6. Click OK to finish the configuration.
