You can use this feature to turn off the TV speakers when you
connect an audio system to the VARIABLE AUDIO OUT on
your TV.

In the SOUND menu, press

to select TV Speakers.

to select Off.
To turn on the built-in speakers, select On.
This setting is used to set the sound output when headphones
are connected.

to highlight
Headphone Settings, and then press

to highlight Speaker Link and use

select On or Off.

If you select Off, then highlight Headphone Level
and use

to adjust the headphone sound.
Audio Description is an additional narrative sound track for
visually impaired individuals to understand and enjoy the story
line more fully. The letters AD will be displayed in the channel
banner when programmes contain AD content. You can choose
to hear sound from the TV speakers and the headphone output
or only from the headphone output.

Highlight Audio Description, and then press

to select On.
The AD button on the Remote can also be used to
toggle the Audio Description feature between On
and Off.

To adjust the level of the audio description sound to
the main sound, highlight Mixing Level and use
C

.

Highlight Speaker Out, and then press
C

to
select On or Off.
On: sound from both the headphone output and
speakers.
Off: sound from the headphone output.
See "Headphone Settings" to adjust the headphone
sound.
NOTE: This feature also applies to the sound from the
DIGITAL AUDIO output and FIXED AUDIO output.
