STANDBY/ON – Press to turn the power on and
off.
• For the BDP-450, if the power cannot be turned off (to
standby), press and hold the button for over
5 seconds. The unit restarts and can now be
operated.

• Only the counter display is provided on the BDP-150.

Remote control sensor – Point the remote control to
this, then operate it within approximately 7 m.
The player may have trouble capturing remote control
signals if there is a fluorescent light nearby. If this
happens, move the player away from the fluorescent
light.

PQLS indicator (BDP-450 only) – (page 19)

OPEN/CLOSE – Press to open and close the disc
tray.

– Press to stop playback.

– Press to start playback.
11 Reset button (BDP-150 only) – If the power cannot be
turned off (set to standby), use a thin rod to press this
button. The unit restarts, at which point it is again
operable.
