HD SDI Digital Input (slot 3 & 4)
What can be connected to this input ?
This input is full compatible with HD digital sources.
This avoids the need for analog video processing anywhere in the video production chain and guarantees the ultimate image quality.
An active loop-through of the HD SDI digital input signal is provided for monitoring or for double and or triple stacking applications.
Connections :
One BNC input terminal and one active loop-through BNC output terminal.
The input is always 75 ohm terminated. The output inpedance of the HD SDI out is 75 ohm.
For short distances (up to 10 m) you can use a single shielded high quality 75 ohm coax cable
For longer distances you need to use a double shielded 75 ohm-coax cable. Recommended type: Belden 8281 (up to 80 m ) or Belden
1694A (up to 120 m).
How to select the Digital input :
Key in the corresponding slot number on the RCU or the local keypad.
Note : When a RCVDS05 is connected to the projector, the HD-SDI input is available by keying in 83 or 84 on the RCU.
