Functions
The charger is equipped with a microprocessor (Mcu - Micro computer unit)
and features fully automatic charging-, diagnostic-, emergency- and maintenance
functions after selecting the battery type connected (12 V or 24 V) the battery
charger will recognise the battery capacity and the battery condition and calculate
the required charging parameters (charging voltage, charging current) This allows
for efficient and safe charging If the wrong battery voltage is set or the battery is
defective, it will not charge and the “error” leD (15) will light up (also see “Trouble-
shooting”)
The “trickle charge” function allows the charger to be permanently connected a full
charge will be maintained

ensure the battery poles are clean If the battery has removable vent caps, fill
each battery cell with distilled water to the level recommended by the battery
manufacturer Do not overfill the cells
Connecting the device
1 connect the required terminal connection cable
(with rings or clamps) to the device’s
comfort
plug connection (5)
2 connect the red (+) pole connector cable to the
positive pole of the battery
3 connect the black (-) pole connector cable to
the negative pole of the battery
