Field

Description

Database

The Livelink ECM database name. All of the database information (database, server, port) must
be the same as the database information that you specified on the Configure tab.

Livelink
Server

The Livelink ECM Enterprise Server name. The server must either be on the same local area
network (LAN) as the Services Manager or must be connected to the Services Manager by a
Virtual Public Network (VPN).

Port

The port used by the Livelink server. The default is 2099.

Username
and
Password

When you create libraries in Livelink ECM, you set up credentials for users who have access to
the information stored in each library. The user name and password that you enter here must
provide access to the library referenced by this destination. The user name and password are also
used to access the list of names used for the type ahead function at the device.
If you change this information on the Livelink server, you must also change it for this connector
profile.

Storage
Folder

The destination for all documents scanned using the Express connector profile.
The Browse Folders window enables you to search the Livelink server for the target folder.

Personal: Shows the Personal workspace destinations of the user whose credentials are
entered on the Express tab. This includes folders, projects, and folder and project aliases.

Enterprise: Shows the folders, projects, and folder and project aliases available as
destinations in the Enterprise workspace.

Storage
Attributes

Attributes configured in Livelink ECM that are stored as metadata with each document. You can
edit the Value field to control the default values for each attribute. Required attributes are
indicated with a yellow “exclamation point” icon. Each required attribute must have a default
value.
