Removing the fan
To replace the fan
1. Remove the cover. Refer to “Removing the cover”.
2. Disconnect the fan cable attached to the hard disk drive backplane.
Attention
Do not remove the cover or attempt any repair before reading the
“Important safety information” in the Safety and Warranty Guide that was
included with your computer or in the Hardware Maintenance Manual
(HMM) for the home center. To obtain copies of the Safety and Warranty
