The
applications
are
packaged
as
self-extracting
installation
files.
Therefore
the
EasyUpdate
installation
file
specifies
the
executable
to
start
after
the
extraction.
If
you
use
the
-a
parameter,
then
any
parameter
following
the
-a
will
be
passed
to
the
installation
file
executable,
and
then
prompts
the
execution
to
start
after
the
extraction.

mode.
It
suppresses
the
initialization
window
defined

installation
file

execute

the

switches

values
of
public
properties
to
the
MSI
file
included
in
the
installation
file.
This
parameter
is
used
to
suppress
the
MSI
file
user
interface.
You
would
use
this
parameter
in
conjunction

other
parameters
and
the
executable
file
that
installation
file
will
start
after
the
extraction
when
you
want
to
do
a
silent
installation.
You
can
pass
information
to
the
MSI
file
using
the
command
line
to
execute
the
installation
file.
All
parameters
within
the
double
quote
symbols
(“
“)
after
the
/v
parameter
are
passed
to
the
MSI
file.

used
