Format Memory Card
The Format Memory Card screen formats the memory card while it is in the
camera. When a memory card is formatted it erases everything, including any
templates on the card, and sets up new directories and pointers on the memory
card.
To format a memory card:
To cancel format: press a button until CANCEL FORMAT is
highlighted and then press the DO-IT button. The card is not formatted and the
main Preferences screen reappears.
1 Set the Mode dial to Preferences.
2 Turn on the camera.
The LCD displays the Preferences screen.
3 Press a button until the Format
Memory Card icon is highlighted on the third
Preferences screen.
4 Press the DO-IT button.
The LCD displays the main Format Memory
Card screen.
5 Press a button until CONTINUE
FORMAT is highlighted.
6 Press the DO-IT button.
The card is formatted and the main
Preferences screen reappears.
