Scanning
Before scanning, make sure that the printer is connected to your computer with a
USB 2.0 cable. wireless network, or Ethernet network/cable.
To scan a document or picture:

Place the original(s) in the automatic document feeder or on the scanner glass.
IMPORTANT:
Do not load photographs, cards, or any paper stock heavier than
24 lb / 90 gsm or lighter than 16 lb / 60 gsm in the ADF.

Select Scan.

Select one of the following destinations for your scan:

Memory Card
■
USB Flash Drive
■
Email*
■
Network Folder*

Press Start Black to make a grayscale scan, or press Start Color to make a
color scan.
