Mounting Information
Side Mounted Cylinders (styles
SL, CL, FB, SF) used under shock
conditions or at high pressure
ranges, should be doweled or
keyed to the machine. Cylinders
should be pinned or keyed on one
end only (especially important on
long strokes) due to deflection
that takes place under load.

Lugs on styles SL and CL are
sized to allow pinning thru the
lug. On style FB two pins and
one bold can be used on one end
to take the thrust. On style SF
keys should be welded (or bolted
and pinned) to the machine
member to take the thrust.

Intermediate Supports are very
important for the long stroke
cylinders (order 72

"

) and are

available at a nominal charge.
