9. Error codes
When detecting an operating state which is not permissible, the device will display an error code
The following error codes are defined:
Error presumed cause Solution
Err 1 - Input signal to high - The input sighnal must be within
- Exceeding of the measuring - Sensor broken the limits
range - Sensor shorted - Check sensor, transducer / transmitter
- Check device configuration
- Reset the counter
Err 2 - Input signal to low /negative - The input sighnal must be within
- Values below measuring - Current below 4 mA the limits
range - Sensor shorted - Check sensor, transducer/ transmitter
- Sensor broken - Check device configuration
- Counter underflow - Reset the counter
Err 3 - Incorrect scale - The error message will be reset if the
- Display range has been - Counter overflow display value is below 9999

Err 4 - Incorrect scale - The error message will be reset if the
- Values below display range - Counter underflow display value is above -1999
- Defective device - Reset the counter
Err 7 - Valid operation temperature - Stay within valid temperature range
- System error has been exceeded - Exchange the defective device
Err 9 - Sensor broken /shorted
(PT100)
- Check sensor
- Sensor defective -Sensor broken (Thermocouple)
Err 11 - Incorrect scale - Check settings and input signal
- Value could not be calculated
