Mechanical Seals
When
mechanical seals are furnished, a
manufacturer’s reference drawing is supplied with the
pump data package. This drawing must be kept for
future use when performing maintenance and
adjusting the seal.
If oil lubed seals are supplied, the seal faces must be
lubricated by oil at all times.
