NOTE: The foundation pads are supplied by the
customer. They are to be 16-20 micro-inch surface
finish 316 stainless steel plate.
7. Level the baseplate while making final height
adjustments. Adjust the baseplate height by
loosening the top jam nut and adjusting nut. Change
the height by moving the lower adjusting nut. When
the baseplate is level, tighten the top adjusting nuts
just enough to make sure the top springs are not loose
in their followers and then snug the lower and upper
jam nuts.
NOTE: Suction and discharge piping must be
individually supported. The spring mounted
baseplates are designed to support piping loads
developed by thermal expansion only.
