Subtitle Off
The DVD format allows the disc itself to issue
commands to the DVD player. Rarely, a disc may
automatically display subtitles even when they have
been turned off at the DVD player. This setting
allows you to select the language of the subtitles
that are displayed with this type of DVD.
Select “With Audio” to display the subtitles in the
same language as the “Audio Language” setting.
Select “Subtitle Language” to display subtitles in the
same language as the “Subtitle Language” setting.
General
The on-screen setup menu items listed under the
“General” tab configure a few miscellaneous settings
of the Ayre DX-7.
Setup Menu Mode
There are two choices for displaying the on-screen
setup menus, “Basic” and “Expert”. Selecting
“Expert” will display all of the available
configuration options. Selecting “Basic” will only
show the basic configuration options.
If “Basic” is selected and the “OSD Language” is
set to “English”, on-screen help information will
be displayed for each menu option.
