Striker Plate Using
Cane Bolt, Drill 1/2”
Diameter Hole into Deck
1/4-20 Flat Head Screws
Top End
Cap (x2)
Bottom End Cap (x2)
Cane Bolt Side
1/4-20 Shoulder
Screws (x4)
1/4-20 Shoulder
Screws (x4)
1/4-20 Pan
Head Screws
Assemble Double
Gate Latch
Install Striker Plate

2. Fasten with #8
Wood Screws (x2)

Max gap between
gates 1 1/4”.
Predrill with 1/8”
bit into aluminum
Side End.
Follow Steps 1-6 of Single Gate to
assemble Cane Bolt Side
Repeat Steps 8-10
Use 1” Black Screws to Fasten
Latch to Latch Side End and
Cane Bolt Side End.

Assemble Hex Nuts
and Screw Caps
2. Install Cap
Once Nuts are
Tightened
3/8-16
Hex Nut (x2)
1. Tighten Hex
Nut to Secure
Gate Hinge

(6) 2” Wood Screws
(5) 1” Self Tapping Screws
11 Assemble Latch*
Use Latch Hardware to Fasten
Latch to Latch Side End.
Post
1. Mark and predrill
with 3/16” bit into post
sleeve and attach with
black 2” wood screws
provided
2. Mark and predrill
with 1/8” bit into
aluminum side end and
attach striker black 1”
screws provided.
Latch Reversal
(if necessary)
Remove screws
holding back
plate in place
Reinstall screws
Flip backplate
