Symptom
A message appears

Cause/Remedy
Remove this Bluetooth Module from the
CLIÉ handheld, and insert it again.
•A wrong Passkey may have been entered.
Perform bonding again and enter the
correct Passkey. (See pages 18 and 25).
•A Software or old link key that cannot
respond to a Passkey exchange request
from other devices may have been stored.

The actual communication range may be less
than 10 meters depending on factors such as
obstacles between devices, magnetic fields
around a microwave oven, static electricity,
interference, reception sensitivity or
antenna’s performance, and operating
system or software application, etc. Change

Module, or decrease the distance between
devices.
