Self-Timer
1 Press
(Self-Timer) on the control button.
2 Select the desired mode with the control button.
• In Easy Mode, you can select only [10sec] or [Off].
(Off)
Does not use the self-timer.
(10sec)
Sets the self-timer to a 10-second delay.
When you press the shutter button, the self-timer lamp flashes and a
beep sounds until the shutter operates.
To cancel, press
again.
(2sec)
Sets the self-timer to a 2-second delay.

Reducing blurring with the two-second self-timer
Use the 2-second delay self-timer to prevent blur of an image. The shutter is released
2 seconds after you press the shutter button, which reduces camera shake when the shutter
button is pressed.
