No matter how you shoot, the new grip fits your hand perfectly. Whether
taking self-portraits or casual snaps, the natural form ensures quick,
comfortable handling and makes the camera so easy to carry around. In
addition, the textured grip prevents slipping even when shooting one-
handed or when using exceptionally large lenses.
Newly designed anti-slip grip
NEX-3N’s tiltable LCD screen flips up 180° to make shooting self-
portraits a snap. Rather than shooting blind and hoping for the
best, you can now carefully compose the perfect shot. Include other
people, experiment with interesting angles or shoot against famous
landmarks. When you press the shutter, the camera counts down
for three seconds so you can put on your best smile.
A handy new zoom lever allows
smooth zooming* even when shooting
self-portraits, bringing compact
camera convenience to the realm of
interchangeable-lens models. In addition,
the right side of the control wheel can
be used to adjust ISO or programmed
as a Fn (Function) button. Together,
these controls further enhance NEX-3N’s
outstanding one-handed usability.

The NEX-3N with kit lens is 30% smaller overall than
that of NEX-F3 (the preceding model) and its kit lens.
SELP1650 is half the length of SEL1855.
For the ultimate in portability and compatibility
with NEX-3N, try versatile SELP1650, the 16 to 50
mm zoom kit lens. Measuring just 29.9 mm (1.18”) —
half the size of SEL1855 when fully retracted — the
lens is ideal when travelling or anytime a compact,
lightweight camera-lens combo is desired.
