This high-quality portable telephoto lens provides sharp, clear
images, well-defined colors, a pleasing defocused effect and the
smooth, silent operation of a SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor).
Sony's macro lens for APS-C cameras lets you capture detailed close-
ups of subjects as close as approx. 13 cm away with Smooth Autofo-
cus Motor operation, sharp detail and beautiful background blur.
This mid-range zoom lens offers a flexible focal range. It's the lightest
midrange magnification zoom lens available (approx. 398 g), with si-
lent SAM (Smooth Autofocus Motor) AF and aberration compensation.
Our moderate portrait lens with wide F1.8 maximum aperture makes
subjects stand out brilliantly against beautifully blurred backgrounds.
