Symptom
The SET indicator falshes
five times during the
Learning procedure.

button flashes five times
during setting.

The Component Select
buttons flash by a
constant interval when
you press a button.
Remedy
• Learning has not succeeded. See “For accurate Learning”
(page 18) and try the Learning procedure again (page 15).
• Clear infrequently used Learned functions (page 21), then
carry out learning operations.
• The component codes cannot be set. See the supplied
“Component Code Numbers” and try setting the component
codes again (page 8).
• A selected Component Select button or another button to be
set has any remote control signals programmed by Learning
function (page 15). Clear the “learned” signals (page 21) or
select another button which has no “learned” signals, and try
setting again.
• The Hold function is on. Unlock the Hold function (page 30).
• Batteries are weakened.
Replace them with new ones.
