The camera is equipped with a self-timer that releases the shutter about ten seconds after
you press the shutter-release button.

Press flexible button 2 (j 10 s).
• When Y Smile timer is selected, the camera
uses face detection to detect a human face, and
then automatically releases the shutter when a
smile is detected (

Frame the picture and press the
shutter-release button halfway.
• Focus and exposure are set.
