AT-RPS1000 Installation
This document describes the features and procedures to install the
AT-RPS1000.
Summary of Features
The features of the AT-RPS1000 are as follows:
❑ Provides redundant, load-shared power for up to two gigabit
switches (AT-9108 or AT-8518).
If the primary power supply for the switch fails, the AT-RPS1000
takes over, ensuring uninterrupted network operation.
❑ Contains two active power supplies (each with its own AC power
connector) that share the load with the primary power supply
located in the gigabit switches.
❑ Provides status on power supply and fan operation of the
AT-RPS1000 by way of the gigabit switch’s Simple Network
Management Protocol (SNMP) and command-line interface (CLI).
Information regarding the AT-RPS1000 and fan operation can be
obtained by using the
show switch command from the gigabit
switch CLI.
❑ Uses a standard 2U, 19-inch rack mount.
❑ Has 110/220 VAC autosensing capability.
❑ Capable of driving 3.3V at 20A and 5V at 10A on each of its DC
connectors.
❑ Supports only Allied Telesyn’s gigabit switches.
