Management Interfaces for Stand-alone Switches
There are three management interfaces in the AT-S63 Management
Software for monitoring and configuring stand-alone AT-9400 Switches.
The interfaces are:
Menus interface
Command line interface
Web browser interface
The menus and command line interfaces are available from local
management sessions through the Terminal Port on a stand-alone switch
or remotely from Telnet and Secure Shell clients. The web browser
interface is accessed from remote web browsers using either non-secure
HTTP or secure HTTPS.
All of the features and functions of a stand-alone switch can be configured
from the command line. However, the menus and web browser interfaces
support only a subset of the possible management functions. For example,
the basic settings of a port (e.g., speed and duplex mode) can be
configured from any of the interfaces in the AT-S63 Management
Software, while VRRP has to be configured from the command line
interface.
The management interfaces and the features and functions that they
support are listed in Table 2.
