TCG/TPM Support

Select Yes on this item and enable the TPM jumper on the motherboard to enable TCG (TPM 1.1/
1.2)/TPM support in order to improve data integrity and network security. The options are No and
Yes.

If this feature is set to Yes, the following items will display:

Execute TPM Command

Select Enabled to allow the user to change executable TPM commands and TPM settings. Select
Don't Change to keep the current TPM settings. The options are Don't Change, Enabled, and Dis-
abled.

TPM Enable/Disable Status

This item displays the status of TPM Enabled/Disabled state.

TPM Owner Status

This item displays the status of TPM Ownership.

XIPMI Configuration

Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) is a set of common interfaces that IT administrators
can use to monitor system health and to manage the system as a whole. For more information on the
IPMI specifications, please visit Intel's website at www.intel.com.

Status of BMC

Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) manages the interface between system management
software and platform hardware. This is an informational feature which returns the status code of the
BMC micro controller.

IPMI Function

Select Enabled to turn on this motherboard's IPMI capability. The options are Dis- abled and En-
abled.

View BMC System Event Log

This feature is used to view any BMC events. It shows the total number of entries and will allow the
viewing of each event by scrolling down on an Entry Number and pressing Enter.
